We had an absolutely fantastic turn out for the first Preston Peak Wedding Festival, with over 650 lovely guests, beautiful brides-to-be (many with fiancés in tow) and friends pouring through the doors, eager to get face time with some of our fabulous exhibitors.
Greeted at the door by our team of waitstaff, guests indulged in delicious tastes of our famous mezze platter and supper options carefully prepared by our award winning catering team as they mingled and familiarised themselves with what Toowoomba wedding experts had on offer.
With a glass of champagne or beer in hand, couples took the opportunity to admire some of Preston Peak’s stunning new features, including the beautiful bridal cottage, function room, cellar door and signature wedding tree pavilion.
Many of our guests had the chance to speak with our venue manager Matt, who was able to answer many questions about how the venue and events will function on their special day.
“It’s just such an advantage having everything on one site. You’ve got your catering, function room, outdoor pavilion, and scenic backdrops for photographs all in one place, meaning far less stress on the day.”
Those who attended the festival went into the draw to win a fantastic wedding prize package, valued at just over $13,000. The lucky draw included venue hire at Preston Peak Functions, a fireworks display, photography, accommodation, cake voucher, bridal couture, celebrancy services, a helicopter ride for the couple, entertainment, styling services, hair and beauty services, car hire and dental vouchers, all of which were donated by our exhibitors.
The names were drawn on Wednesday 25th January and the lucky couple were notified they had won shortly after. Winning couple Rebecca Beutel & Thomas Miller were ecstatic to find out they had won the prize package, which they felt would have only been possible as part of their wildest dreams.
Rebecca and Thomas’ special day will be on 22nd July 2017 at Preston Peak.
Winners of the lucky door prizes were Lyndell Bourke and Tia Thorne, who were also appreciative of the contribution to their special day.
